Grianan House is a beautifully finished, spacious self catering home from home on the stunning Isle of Arran. It is set in very large grounds and located on the shore in the village of Kildonan with fantastic views over the Firth of Clyde, Ailsa Craig and the island of Pladda.
The word Grianan is Gaelic for sunny spot and with our south facing aspect when the sun shines the house definitely lives up to its name.
Early risers may see two large hares enjoying our shrubbery. The seals on the rocks are so close you can hear them, and if you are lucky, you will also be able to spot our local family of otters, playing at the water’s edge at low tide.
The bedrooms are downstairs and the spacious, open plan lounge and dining area are upstairs to better enjoy the view from the balcony. Central heating, towels and linen are provided. No smoking.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and microwave oven. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the entrance porch.
